because the rational approach seems to work far too inconsistently. i REALLY need some documentation on that. while some generals who gained a few random king's eye traits, fighting and camping on the edge of my vast empire remain perfectly loyal. its also common occurence that a general send to the capital, king or both does not increase loyalty at all. but at the same time, some super loyal generals instantly become disloyal for no reason. i can also see that keeping generals busy and close to capital/king may lead to more loyalty. How does it work? i can see that i can gain ancillaries and traits under certain conditions, although i can't see the odds. Last but not least and definitely the most important:
it makes you forced to quit and lose a siege you already won. because this makes it literally impossible sometimes to win a siege when you play with an army that can't get capable infantry on the wall to kill all wall campers who just sit there forever. It seems this mod has disabled the ability to capture a town centre and thus win the siege by capture.
