This is the second time I’ve had their beet salad and although I wish there were more beets, it’s still a really delicious salad. The seafood is so fresh and so well prepared.
Oh my god, the cheese combo is sooo good and the soup is heavenly. We got the raw/seafood platter for 2, a beet salad, wedge salad and French onion soup. On this second visit, we went for a late dinner. That’s a beautiful, unique space that looks like it was plucked from Aspen and set in Towaco. The first time we came here was to see a band pre-COVID upstairs in the bar. This was our second time here, and due to the sweltering temps we ate in the dining room. No complaints about the price because I feel that the meal and atmosphere were worth it! This is not an everyday restaurant for us but we will go again! We want to check out the other levels like Rafters.Ī beautiful place with great food and delicious drinks. We order a little more than we normally would but it was a special occasion so we knew our bill would be higher. That was so nice of the staff and management. We were also so happy and grateful that Nick brought out my brownie (we shared) with a candle and wished us a happy anniversary and comped the dessert. My barrel oak old fashion paired perfectly with the meal. We loved the garnish of roasted garlic because it could be used to spread on the steak. What an amazing flavor! We each had perfectly cooked buttery steaks, the truffle fries (my favorite fries ever now), roasted brussel sprouts (I hate brussel sprouts but these were delicious) and potatoes au gratin (perfect). We had appetizers including the bacon with peanut butter and jalapeños jam. He made us feel like we important guests. Our server Nick was the absolute best! He was knowledgeable, funny and made sure our dining experience was wonderful. From the moment we walked in we were greeted cheerfully by the staff and showed our way to the Speakeasy as it was our first visit.
This was me and my wife’s first dinner out in two years and without a child in almost four so this was a big event… it was also our anniversary.
